XIII Faizkhanov Readings have been held in St. Petersburg on May 4–6, 2016. This year the conference was devoted to the Golden Horde and its heritage in Eurasia on occasion of the 750 years from foundation of this state. The conference was organized by the Spiritual Administration of Moslems of the Russian Federation, State Hermitage, Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Institute of Oriental Studies, Institute of Oriental Manuscripts and others.
There were two plenary sessions and four sections with about 100 speakers from different regions of Russia as well as from Finland, France, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan. Most part of presentations caused questions and debates. The proceeding of the conference is to be published this year.
