Abstract. Objective: Сodicological and bibliographic descriptions of the Belarusian-Tatar manuscript of the 17th century stored in the Scientific Library of the Kazan University under the code 5750т (previously 1546) and known in the scientific world as the Kazan Kitab.
Research materials: The Belarusian-Tatar manuscript of the 17th century (codex) stored in the Scientific Library of the Kazan University – the so-called Kazan Kitab – and all texts contained in the manuscript (including colophons, ownership details, and other records).
Results and novelty of the research: The codicological and bibliographic description of the 17th century Belarusian-Tatar manuscript (Kazan Kitab) has been supplemented. The paper study has been continued. The colophons (author’s and copyist’s) contained in the manuscript are published for the first time as well as details of ownership, gift-bestowing, economic and other records contained in it. All of these shed light on its origin and fate. For the first time an attempt has been made to translate and comprehensively interpret the said colophons and records. The names of several previously unknown owners have been revealed.

Keywords: Arabic language, Turkish languages, Slavonic (Belarusian and Polish) languages, tatars of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania
