   INTERNATIONAL ROUND TABLE HISTORICAL JOURNALS:
TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACADEMIC
AND PUBLISHING ACTIVITIES

An online international round table on trends in the development of historical journals was held in Kazan. The event was timed to occur on both the 95th anniversary of the “Echo of Centuries” journal’s first issue and the 25th anniversary of the journal’s resumption. Its development and the challenges faced by publishers both 95 years ago and today were presented along with the journal’s achievements.
Editors and members of the editorial boards of the journals of Kazan, Moscow, Minsk, and Nur-Sultan considered the issues and problems of the development of modern historical periodicals in the Russian Federation, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
